The Lincolnshire Kidney Patients Association is a registered charity; our charity number is: 1096552. This website is being built by ourselves with no professional help and if you find something of interest: please let us know by filling in one of our comments forms on the 'Contact Us' page.
The Lincolnshire KPA has no connection with any other KPA that just happens to have the same initials ‘LKPA’. We are an independent charity and full members of the National Kidney Federation; where we speak for our members.
The Lincolnshire KPA does not employ any staff and all the work of our Association is done by unpaid volunteers.
This website is for kidney patient but especially for Lincolnshire Kidney Patients or those on dialysis or intending to be dialysed in Lincolnshire.
This website does not intended to be a comprehensive guide to kidney dialysis but might prove a good signpost to many links. There are a number of links on our 'Links Page' where information on all aspects of kidney disease are available. One of the best places for information is the National Kidney Federation's website. To access the National Kidney Federation's website: please click on their logo at the bottom of this page; where you will find access to everything to do with kidneys, dialysis and transplants.
Membership of the Lincolnshire KPA is completely free to any patient or the family of any patient. If you would like to join us and receive free of charge: the National Kidney Federation's quarterly magazine 'Kidney Life' and our own quarterly News-letter; again free of charge. Then please click the 'Contact Us' link on the left and send us your details. It's not a great form yet but we’re working on it and at least you can enter the basics.
Data Protection
The Lincolnshire KPA will pass on your name and address to the National Kidney Federation but we will not pass on any phone numbers or e-mail addresses without first asking your permission. The National Kidney Federation is: the only national kidney charity run by kidney patients for kidney patients.
